ABOUT YOGA LOVING MAMA

I’m Sarah, a Dynamic Yoga Instructor with additional expertise in Pre & Post Natal practice, teaching in & around Chandlers Ford, Hampshire. 


I believe yoga to be a huge benefit to our mental & physical health, both on & off the mat. Whether you have five minutes or five hours to practice, I am passionate about finding ways to incorporate positive habits into daily lives. Yoga has given me healing & purpose & I have found the techniques that I teach incredibly helpful throughout the different stages of my life.

Continuing with my practice throughout my pre & post natal journey, I know first hand how beneficial yoga is for pregnancy, birth & postpartum recovery. With this understanding, I am passionate about adapting the traditional yoga practices to support new mothers & parents to be during this special time.

It brings me joy to share my knowledge with you.

Pregnancy Yoga

Yoga postures tailored for the pregnant woman. Keeping the body mobile & strong for a happy & healthy pregnancy.
Breathing techniques, meditation & labour positions are covered in each 1 hour class, helping to give confidence around birth & into motherhood. Deep relaxation at the end of each session is beneficial to both mother & baby offering a calm space for bonding.

Why Yoga?

If you have been thinking about taking a yoga class, expect a warm welcome, physical activity, feel good endorphins & deep relaxation.


No prior experience or flexibility required. Being ‘good at it’ is irrelevant as all egos are left at the door!


I believe yoga is much more than just a physical activity, it is a way of life. A way to better understand yourself & the world around you. To become mindful of your thoughts, emotions & actions. To get the best out of yourself & to create the life you want.


It might take some time to find your flow but once you’re there you won’t look back. Your journey may start on a yoga mat but it will follow you in to every aspect of your being & I welcome you with open arms.

Mindful Moments

One of my biggest passions is creating quick & easy well-being solutions for busy lives, without having to change much more than your mindset. 

Time is precious and we often spend it in ways we don’t enjoy, leaving little space to feel our best. I like to incorporate small moments of me time into the daily activities I’m already doing. Here are two of my favourite examples;

When walking, do it with intention & notice your surroundings, the colours, sounds, scents. Be aware of any physical sensations in your body & how you feel emotionally. Try to leave all distractions behind.


When drinking your preferred beverage, notice the flavour, the temperature, the colour & the taste. Drink with purpose, mentally pause to enjoy it.

Pregnancy, Birth & Beyond

The benefits of prenatal yoga go far beyond physical activity. Including techniques ranging through breath work, meditation, stretches, postures & relaxation, all designed to alleviate common pregnancy symptoms, prepare the mind & body for labour & help you find inner calm, guiding you through pregnancy, birth & beyond. 


This is a wonderful opportunity of dedicated time to connect, rest & acknowledge all of the changes happening in & around you, alongside beginning new friendships with other expectant mothers. 


This knowledge will follow you into the fourth trimester, easing the postpartum period & aiding your recovery. If choosing to continue your yoga practice after birth, I will be ready to support your healing.
